We are seeking a Senior Practitioner with advanced PBS capability, strong clinical leadership skills, and a commitment to person-centred, evidence-based practice. You will play a pivotal role in delivering complex behaviour support, mentoring junior practitioners, and contributing to service-wide governance and innovation.
Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and capacity-building across the PBS team.
Supervise and mentor practitioners at all levels.
Contribute to PBS strategy, quality improvement, and clinical governance initiatives.
Lead complex behavioural cases using advanced clinical reasoning and cross-disciplinary planning.
Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans.
Deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with NDIS PBS Capability Framework.
Meet agreed billable targets with the support of the PBS Team Lead.
Adapt behaviour support approaches for diverse communities, including First Nations and CALD clients.
Collaborate with families, GPs, allied health providers, and community organisations to support client outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical records using electronic systems and complete all compliance and reporting requirements.
Ensure safe, ethical, and high-standard service delivery.
Participate in individual and group supervision.
Contribute to audits, documentation reviews, and quality systems.
Support risk management, restrictive practice oversight, and service improvement initiatives.
Represent the PBS team in working groups and organisational forums.
Co-develop PBS tools, procedures, policies, and frameworks.
Facilitate reflective practice, training sessions, and clinical discussions.
Provide specialist expertise (e.g., trauma-informed practice, dual diagnosis, forensic disability, cultural safety).
Relevant tertiary qualifications in disability, psychology, social work, behavioural science, OT, or related field.
Full NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Advanced/Specialist).
National Police Check, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and valid Australian driver’s licence.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidence-based PBS interventions for people with disability and complex needs.
Experience providing supervision and mentoring to other practitioners.
Strong understanding of restrictive practices, risk management, and clinical governance.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
High-level organisational, communication, and clinical documentation skills.
Experience with electronic record systems and willingness to use technologies such as Telehealth.
