We are recruiting for a respected Not-for-Profit organisation seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Case Manager to join their Permanency Support Program (PSP) team.

They’re looking for a committed professional with experience in Permanency Support Programs to join their passionate team and make a real difference for children and families.
Based in Bankstown with flexibility to work across various locations, you’ll provide trauma-informed case management and therapeutic support to children and families in out-of-home care, helping to ensure safe, stable, and culturally respectful care arrangements.
Your Role:
Develop and implement strengths-based, culturally sensitive case plans for children, young people, and carers in partnership with families and key stakeholders.
Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions, including home visits, family engagement, and parent education.
Support transitions into and out of permanency support care arrangements.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports to meet regulatory standards, including court documentation.
Collaborate with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) and community agencies to provide holistic support.
Participate in an on-call roster and undertake regular professional development and WHS training.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, Family Therapy, or related discipline.
Proven experience in case management and therapeutic support with at-risk children, young people, and carers—preferably within permanency or out-of-home care programs.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and child-centred practices.
Ability to work independently while managing a caseload of 10-12 clients, including conducting monthly home visits and family time support.
Excellent communication and report writing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
Experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse communities.
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), Police Check, and a valid NSW Driver’s Licence with access to a vehicle.
