HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a Group Facilitator to join a well-respected and reputable not-for-profit organisation in the Central Coast that is funded to deliver inclusive adult mental health and AOD services to the community. This role is casual, full time, Monday - Friday business hours.

Are you a compassionate and skilled Group Facilitator with a desire to deliver high-quality, recovery-orientated, and person-led support services?

In this position, you will provide effective service delivery, ensuring case management, assessment and referral, education and support.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide efficient day-to-day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, and referrals.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individual treatment plans, ensuring all case management documentation, records, and reports are accurate and compliant.

  • Acquire and maintain strong knowledge of referral pathways and support options available to participants.

  • Work collaboratively and professionally with other services to provide holistic care.

  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice in service delivery.

  • Undertake ad hoc duties as required by management.

  • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services, or relevant work experience.

  • Experience supporting people impacted by substance use and mental health conditions.

  • Knowledge of mental health, AOD, community services, and health sectors

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and build relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
