Child and Family Caseworkers
HiTalent Recruitment is partnering with a well-respected, not-for-profit organisation to recruit passionate and dedicated Caseworkers for their Early Intervention and Family Preservation Programs in Sydney, NSW. These are temporary roles until the end of January 2026 with a potential extension.

About the Role:
As a Caseworker, you’ll play a key role in supporting children and young people through early intervention and family preservation programs. You’ll work with families to help them thrive in safe, stable, and nurturing environments. This includes strengthening parenting capacity, connecting families with services, and reducing risks so children can grow up strong, safe, and connected to culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive case management support to families referred to the Early Intervention and Family Preservation Programs.
Support families to strengthen parenting capacity, build resilience, and create safe, stable, and nurturing home environments.
Assist in the coordination and delivery of group programs and supported playgroups designed to promote family connection and well-being.
Collaborate effectively with government agencies, community services, and local networks to ensure families receive holistic support.
Keep accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in line with program and compliance requirements.
Contribute to a culturally safe, inclusive, and strengths-based service environment where every family feels supported and empowered.
What We’re Looking For:
Relevant qualification or 2-3 years’ casework experience with children and families
Knowledge of child protection, early intervention, and child development principles
Strong understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal families and communities
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and online systems
