HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a a creative and values-driven Digital Communications Officer to join a purpose led Not for Profit organisation and help strengthen their brand, grow community engagement and increase philanthropic support.
Are you a compassionate and skilled digital communications officer with a desire to work for a purpose led organisation?
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will a key role in promoting the services of an organisation that is making a real difference in the lives of women and children escaping domestic and family violence and homelessness.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
- Create and execute Bonnie’s communication, social media and digital fundraising strategies and plans in line with our purpose and strategic objectives.
- Manage and oversight social media channels including content creation for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Manage the website including changes to copy and imagery.
- Ensure that people seeking to use our services can access appropriate and accessible information about what we offer and the eligibility criteria.
- As required, provide marketing/promotional support for internal and external organisational events including the Candlelight Vigil and Annual General Meeting.
- Work closely with staff, and external agencies where required, to develop engaging written, video and digital content for our communication channels aligned with organisational objectives.
- Develop, implement and monitor a digital analytics strategy for our communication channels including social media and website.
- Manage associated administrative tasks in a thorough and efficient manner, including maintaining relevant stakeholder records and databases.
To be successful in this role, you will require: - Qualifications in communications or relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to design and implement creative digital communication strategies
- Knowledge of digital fundraising and media platforms and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Highly developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage competing demands and set work priorities to meet deadlines
- Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to feminist philosophy
- Computer literacy, particularly MS suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) and Canva
- Must be willing to undergo Working with Children and National Police Checks
- 10.Current Driver’s Licence
