We are currently seeking a compassionate and capable Dual Diagnoses Clinician, to work within a client-led, recovery-oriented framework, supporting individuals impacted by mental health challenges, AOD and complex life circumstances.
You will provide specialist dual-diagnosis assessment, treatment and referral for people with co-occurring alcohol and other drug and mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery-orientated and person-led service environment.
  • Provide Dual-Diagnosis expertise and support to the broader AOD Services team, as required.
  • Facilitate the delivery of therapeutic groups and brief intervention to clients as part of a holistic and harm minimisation treatment approach
  • To develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain case management documentation, records, reports and data collection, utilising established case planning procedures
About You
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline (Social work, psychology, mental health nursing etc.)
  • Completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units (or willing to undertake/complete during employment).
  • Current Drivers licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours utilising de-escalation techniques
  • High level of knowledge of mental health, AOD, community services and health sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work with those impacted by substance abuse, gambling and mental health conditions.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in AOD and mental health assessment and screening
