We are currently seeking a compassionate and capable Dual Diagnoses Clinician, to work within a client-led, recovery-oriented framework, supporting individuals impacted by mental health challenges, AOD and complex life circumstances.
You will provide specialist dual-diagnosis assessment, treatment and referral for people with co-occurring alcohol and other drug and mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities

Provide efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery-orientated and person-led service environment.
Provide Dual-Diagnosis expertise and support to the broader AOD Services team, as required.
Facilitate the delivery of therapeutic groups and brief intervention to clients as part of a holistic and harm minimisation treatment approach
To develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain case management documentation, records, reports and data collection, utilising established case planning procedures

About You

Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline (Social work, psychology, mental health nursing etc.)
Completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units (or willing to undertake/complete during employment).
Current Drivers licence.
Demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours utilising de-escalation techniques
High level of knowledge of mental health, AOD, community services and health sectors.
Demonstrated experience and ability to work with those impacted by substance abuse, gambling and mental health conditions.
Demonstrated skills and experience in AOD and mental health assessment and screening
