???????HiTalent Recruitment is seeking an experienced SV Link Worker to join a well-established organisation in Canberra.
This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment focused on strengthening the response to sexual violence (SV) and child sexual abuse (CSA) across the primary healthcare sector.
As an SV Link Worker, you will play a key role in building relationships with general practices and delivering training to enhance the sector’s ability to recognise, respond to, and refer victim-survivors. You will contribute to system integration, workforce capability, and improved care pathways within a trauma-informed framework.
Key Details
- Based across general practice settings and organisational premises
- Flexible delivery hours required (including early mornings, lunch sessions, and occasional after-hours)
- Primarily face-to-face training delivery with some virtual components
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training on sexual violence and child sexual abuse aligned with the Recognise, Respond, Refer model
- Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, nurses, practice managers, and allied health professionals
- Strengthen primary healthcare capacity to identify and respond to SV and CSA
- Support improved referral pathways between primary care and specialist services
- Contribute to system integration and coordinated responses across sectors
- Promote trauma-informed, strengths-based, and inclusive practice
- Collect and manage program data in line with reporting requirements
- Contribute to reporting, program evaluation, and continuous improvement
About You
- Postgraduate qualification in Counselling or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in training development and delivery
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and inclusive practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary settings
- Strong organisational and reporting capabilities
Requirements
- Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
- Ability to travel between locations as required
- Commitment to relevant national standards and frameworks
Desirable
- Experience working within primary healthcare or community services
- Knowledge of sexual violence and family/domestic violence sectors
- Familiarity with data collection and reporting systems
