Dedicated to empowering vulnerable children, young people, and families, this organisation is now seeking a Manager of Case Work to join their dynamic team and contribute to meaningful, community-driven change.

Key Responsibilities

As the Manager of Case Work, you’ll play a vital role in leading a team of Case Managers and ensuring high-quality, outcomes-focused support is provided across programs. You will:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Case Managers

  • Guide complex case decisions and ensure compliance with sector standards (DCJ and OCG)

  • Drive meaningful case planning and review

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and reflective practice

  • Champion client-focused, trauma-informed approaches

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate on transitions, referrals, and intake

  • Contribute to service innovation and strategy development

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Social Work or related field (Diploma with significant experience considered)

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in case management, ideally in Out of Home Care or youth services

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of team supervision

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and youth development

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence in managing complex cases and supporting staff

  • Valid Driver’s Licence, Working With Children Check, Police Check, and comprehensive car insurance
