About the Role
As a Mental Health Worker, you will provide person-centred, holistic support tailored to each individual’s recovery goals. This role is based in Dubbo and Central NSW and includes a combination of face-to-face and outreach work.
Key focus areas include:
Providing one-on-one recovery support to clients
Coordinating services and supporting clients to navigate mental health and community systems
Applying Recovery Model principles to guide goal setting and capacity building
Delivering outreach services where required
Promoting independence, stability, and personal growth
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
About you
Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, Aboriginal Health Care, Enrolled Nursing, or a relevant qualification
Experience supporting vulnerable individuals
A strong understanding of the Recovery Model of Care
Knowledge of local mental health, healthcare, and community services
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse communities
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Competence with computer systems and a willingness to learn
A current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel for outreach
