HiTalent Recruitment is seeking an Operations Manager to join a well-respected and reputable not-for-profit organisation in Ipswich that works with vulnerable people in the community. This role will manage funding contracts and budgets, lead strategic partnerships and drive operational excellence. This role offers salary packaging benefits and is seeking someone to join the team full time with hybrid options available. 

Are you a compassionate and skilled business operations professional with a desire to embed continuous improvement practices and align the service with the needs of a community based mental health and AOD service? 

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee daily operations, including multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Collaborate and lead a team of professionals designed to support the needs, development and accessibility of the service 
  • Lead strategic partnerships with local stakeholders to increase awareness and engagement of the program
  • Manage budgets, funding contracts, and reporting to drive operational excellence
  • Embed continuous improvement practices, aligning services with the needs of our diverse community
  • Use your commercial acumen to identify and grow the service in multiple locations 
  • Seek to improve and develop client management systems and processes 

To be successful in this role, you will require: 

  • Leadership: Guide and empower teams, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with healthcare providers, local government, and community organisations.
  • Operations: Manage finances, risk, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in health service management, business, or a related field.
  • Business Development: identity areas to grow and steer the service in new locations
