As Team Leader, you’ll provide clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to young people aged 13–17.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up—combining leadership, service development and hands-on clinical oversight in a progressive, recovery-focused environment.
You’ll lead a team of up to six clinicians, supporting best-practice interventions while fostering a positive, sustainable team culture.
The Youth Trauma Service provides community-based, trauma-informed support for young people who have experienced trauma and are at risk of mental ill-health.
The model is grounded in:
Evidence-based, developmentally appropriate care
Integrated practice across the mental health system
Empowering young people through choice, safety and autonomy
The service is designed to be responsive, collaborative and innovative, supporting both young people and their families throughout recovery.
Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure high-quality care
Supervise clinicians to develop tailored, recovery-focused plans
Guide complex clinical decision-making and risk management
Coordinate care with families and external services
Monitor team performance and support professional development
Lead case reviews and adapt interventions as needs change
Manage referrals, transitions and service demand efficiently
Build strong partnerships across youth mental health services
Foster a supportive, collaborative team culture
