Day in the life of a recruiter (the unglamorous version) 👇

Early start, straight into emails and messages before heading out to our child and family client visit in Liverpool discussing all things recommissioning 🚗

Catching up face-to-face, talking through staffing challenges, and getting a real feel for what they need (this part actually matters more than people think).

Back-to-back candidate interviews next at the HiTalent office in Martin Place - hearing stories, career goals, and sometimes a bit of chaos in between. No two conversations are ever the same.

Then onto team meetings - quick check-ins, problem solving, and a lot of “who would be good this role?” moments.

Somewhere in the middle… a much-needed caffeine fix ☕️ (non-negotiable).

Best part of the day? Paw shakes with our EAP, Alfie 🐾 - morale booster, stress reliever, and unofficial office MVP (most valuable player).

Finish up and walk home, head full of conversations, placements in progress, and tomorrow already lining itself up.

It’s not always glamorous, but it’s real, fast-paced, and genuinely rewarding when you get it right.
