National Redress Scheme | Trauma-Informed Case Management | Salary Packaging
HiTalent Recruitment is proud to partner with Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation (KBHAC) to recruit an experienced Aboriginal Caseworker to join their National Redress Support Service.
KBHAC is a survivor-led Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation dedicated to supporting Stolen Generations Survivors, their families and Aboriginal communities through healing, truth-telling and culturally safe services.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a culturally safe, survivor-led organisation supporting Aboriginal Survivors throughout their National Redress journey while contributing to healing, justice and improved community outcomes.
Why Join KBHAC?
About the Role
As an Aboriginal Caseworker, you will provide culturally safe, trauma-informed case management to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Survivors engaging with the National Redress Scheme.
Working within a specialist Redress Support Service, you will undertake intake and assessments, develop individualised support plans, coordinate referrals to Trauma Specialist Counsellors and advocate for clients throughout every stage of the Redress process.
This is a high-volume case management role where you will manage an active caseload of approximately 25–30 clients while supporting around 80 National Redress applications over a 12-month period.
You will also build strong partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, correctional facilities, specialist support services and government agencies to improve awareness, access and outcomes for Aboriginal Survivors.
Community outreach forms an important part of this role, with planned travel across Sydney, the Central Coast, Kempsey, Grafton, Yass and Goulburn to strengthen referral pathways and increase community awareness of the National Redress Support Service.
