We are working with a well-respected Not-for-Profit organisation to seek a dedicated Clinical Lead to join their team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in sharing your experience and knowledge in mental health with the team, supporting with assessments, case reviews and clinical guidance.
Reporting to the Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to the team delivering recovery-oriented mental health support services.
Support staff to manage complex mental health presentations, risk assessments, crisis interventions, and care planning.
Promote best-practice, evidence-based approaches aligned with trauma-informed and person-centred care principles.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, reflective practice, and clinical excellence.
Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualised care plans to ensure participants achieve their recovery goals.
Ensure participants receive coordinated, high-quality services that support independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion.
Monitor participant progress and outcomes, ensuring services remain responsive to changing needs.
Provide direct clinical consultation and support for participants with complex psychosocial and mental health needs.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
A tertiary degree in Social Work, Nursing or Psychology
Registration with a relevant professional body - AASW or APHRA
Proven experience in leading and coordinating a team in a mental health setting.
Strong ability to inspire and facilitate team cohesion and cooperation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and build relationships.
Ability to work independently and lead by example.
