Are you a compassionate and skilled mental health Leader with a desire to support and guide a team of Mental Health Clinicians?

As a Clinical Team Leader, you’ll provide clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to young people aged 12-25 years with complex mental health challenges.

This is an opportunity to shape and grow a team combining leadership, service development and hands-on clinical oversight in a progressive, recovery-focused environment. You’ll lead a team of up to eight clinicians, supporting best-practice interventions while fostering a positive, sustainable team culture.

Reporting to the Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Hold a strong clinical skillset in therapeutic intervention with the ability to manage and support the team around risk.

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 6-8 mental health professionals, fostering collaboration and commitment.

  • Lead from the front to support a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality therapeutic mental health services to young people.

  • Ensure program implementation aligns with funding requirements.

  • Ensure client notes and case reviews are maintained to a high quality

  • Oversee and support the delivery of clinical services, maintaining funding and compliance standards.

  • Actively participate in individual and group supervision.

  • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary degree in Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Psychology

  • Registration with a relevant professional body - AASW or APHRA

  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating a team in a mental health setting.

  • Strong ability to inspire and facilitate team cohesion and cooperation.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and build relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and lead by example.
