HiTalent Recruitment is currently partnering with a well known community-focused organisation to recruit a Mental Health Clinician for a full-time opportunity based in Southern Tablelands NSW
Are you a passionate Social Worker, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Mental Health Nurse with a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people aged 12–25?
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate clinician who is committed to supporting young people through evidence-based, person-centred, and recovery-oriented mental health interventions within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Working within a youth mental health setting, you will provide comprehensive assessments, care coordination, and short-term therapeutic interventions to young people aged 12–25 years experiencing a range of mental health presentations.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk assessments
- Developing collaborative, person-centred treatment and care plans
- Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people
- Providing family-inclusive and culturally safe support services
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and case notes
- Supporting young people with a range of mental health and psychosocial needs
- Contributing to continuous improvement and quality service delivery initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing
- Current professional registration or membership with the relevant governing body
- Mental health specific training or a minimum of two years’ experience working within the mental health sector
- Experience working within youth mental health, community mental health, or related settings
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centred practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Knowledge of psychosocial assessments, risk management, and care planning
