HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a Team Leader to join a well-respected and reputable not-for-profit organisation in the Hunter Valley region that is funded to help people living with severe and persistent mental illness to rebuild independence and thrive in their communities. This role offers salary packaging benefits, supervision and support. This is a permanent full-time role, but also open to 3-day-per-week candidates. The majority of clients in this role have mental health and psychosocial disability.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities are:
Leading, mentoring, and supporting a multidisciplinary team
Providing practice guidance, coaching, and supervision to staff
Supporting service planning, quality improvement, and compliance activities
Managing program operations and service delivery outcomes
Building strong relationships with participants, carers, community partners, and stakeholders
Supporting staff to deliver person-centred and recovery-focused support
Monitoring service performance and contributing to reporting requirements
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and collaborative team culture
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, Mental Health, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience working within mental health, psychosocial support, community services, or disability services
Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring staff
Strong understanding of recovery-oriented and person-centred practice
Experience managing competing priorities and supporting service delivery outcomes
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills
Sound knowledge of risk management, safeguarding, and professional practice standards
Current Driver Licence
