HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a passionate Senior Clinician to join a PHN funded program in Parramatta - this is an innovative early intervention mental health program supporting children aged 5 to 12 years experiencing emerging complex mental health challenges.

The program provides early intervention mental health support for children experiencing emotional, behavioural and social challenges. The program works collaboratively with families, schools and health professionals to minimise the impact of mental health concerns and improve long-term wellbeing through evidence-based, child-centred care.
About the Role
As a Senior Clinician, you'll deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions using a strengths-based, child-led approach. Working alongside another Senior Clinician and a Psychiatrist, you'll be supported by an experienced Service Manager within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
The role is primarily based across two partner primary schools in Western Sydney (up to four days per week), with one day each week based from the Parramatta office. Flexible work-from-home arrangements are available where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children aged 5–12.
Complete comprehensive assessments, care planning and ongoing case management.
Support children experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural challenges, trauma and attachment-related needs.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, GPs and external service providers.
Deliver parent coaching, family-inclusive interventions and joint parent-child sessions.
Maintain high clinical standards, documentation and risk management practices.
About You
We're looking for an experienced clinician who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and families.
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling or a related discipline.
Current registration or membership with AHPRA, AASW, PACFA or another relevant professional body (provisional or full registration considered where applicable).
Minimum two years' experience working therapeutically with children aged 5–12.
Experience supporting children with anxiety, behavioural challenges, emotional regulation, trauma and attachment-related needs.
Strong assessment, formulation and case management skills.
Experience delivering evidence-based interventions including play-based therapy, child-focused CBT and emotion regulation strategies.
Confidence engaging children through creative, developmentally appropriate approaches.
Experience working collaboratively with families and providing parent coaching.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with schools, GPs and allied health professionals.
Current NSW Driver Licence and Working With Children Check.
